ऋषय ऊचुः । जमदग्निर्हतः कस्मात्क्षत्रियेण महामुनिः । किंनामा स च भूपालो विस्तराद्वद सूत तत्
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | jamadagnirhataḥ kasmātkṣatriyeṇa mahāmuniḥ | kiṃnāmā sa ca bhūpālo vistarādvada sūta tat
Les sages dirent : «Pour quelle raison le grand muni Jamadagni fut-il tué par un kṣatriya ? Et quel était le nom de ce roi ? Raconte-nous cela en détail, ô Sūta.»
