परिक्षीणोऽस्मि विप्रेंद्र क्षयव्याधिप्रभावतः । तस्मात्कुरु प्रतीकार महं त्वां शरणं गतः
parikṣīṇo'smi vipreṃdra kṣayavyādhiprabhāvataḥ | tasmātkuru pratīkāra mahaṃ tvāṃ śaraṇaṃ gataḥ
«Ô Viprendra, seigneur parmi les brāhmaṇas, je suis entièrement épuisé par la puissance de ce mal de dépérissement. Accorde-moi donc un remède : je suis venu chercher refuge auprès de toi.»
