ततस्तत्र तपस्तेपे गौरीं संस्थाप्य भक्तितः । तदग्रे व्रतमास्थाय यथोक्तं शास्त्र संभवम्

tatastatra tapastepe gaurīṃ saṃsthāpya bhaktitaḥ | tadagre vratamāsthāya yathoktaṃ śāstra saṃbhavam

Puis, en ce lieu même, elle entreprit des austérités, installant avec dévotion (l’image de) Gaurī. Et devant la Déesse, elle observa un vœu, exactement selon l’ordonnance des śāstras.
