शिवं वा सोमवारेण शुक्लाष्टम्यां विशेषतः । शयने बोधने विष्णुं सम्यक्छ्रद्धासमन्वितः

Transliteration

śivaṃ vā somavāreṇa śuklāṣṭamyāṃ viśeṣataḥ | śayane bodhane viṣṇuṃ samyakchraddhāsamanvitaḥ

Translation

Ou bien, un lundi—tout particulièrement au huitième jour (aṣṭamī) de la quinzaine claire—qu’on adore Śiva ; et lors des observances du « sommeil » et de l’« éveil » de Viṣṇu, qu’on adore Viṣṇu avec une foi juste et inébranlable.
