भीष्म उवाच । एष एव वरोऽस्माकं यत्संतुष्टा द्विजोत्तमाः । तथाप्याशु वचः कार्यं युष्मदीयं मयाधुना
bhīṣma uvāca | eṣa eva varo'smākaṃ yatsaṃtuṣṭā dvijottamāḥ | tathāpyāśu vacaḥ kāryaṃ yuṣmadīyaṃ mayādhunā
Bhīṣma dit : «Voici mon vœu même : que les meilleurs des brāhmaṇas soient satisfaits. Pourtant, je dois accomplir sur-le-champ votre parole».
