अभ्यर्चयति तां भक्त्या यो महानवमी दिने । स कामान्वांछितांल्लब्ध्वा पदं प्राप्नोति शाश्वतम्
abhyarcayati tāṃ bhaktyā yo mahānavamī dine | sa kāmānvāṃchitāṃllabdhvā padaṃ prāpnoti śāśvatam
Quiconque l’adore avec dévotion au jour de Mahānavamī, après avoir obtenu les vœux désirés, parvient à l’état éternel.

Scene: A sanctum or open-air shrine of the Goddess on Mahānavamī: devotees offering flowers, lamps, red cloth, and incense; the Devī radiant, bestowing boons and a gesture of protection (abhaya).
Devotion at the proper sacred time (kāla) and place (sthāna) ripens both worldly fulfillment and higher spiritual attainment.
The Carmamuṇḍā Devī shrine described as being established in that place within this Tīrthamāhātmya.
