ततो युद्धार्थिनं मां ते वारयंति हितैषिणः । कृतोत्साहं मखप्राप्तौ नीतिमार्गसमाश्रिताः

tato yuddhārthinaṃ māṃ te vārayaṃti hitaiṣiṇaḥ | kṛtotsāhaṃ makhaprāptau nītimārgasamāśritāḥ

Ainsi, ceux qui me veulent du bien me retiennent lorsque je cherche la guerre. Bien que je sois plein d’ardeur pour atteindre le sacrifice, ils se réfugient dans la voie de la sagesse politique et du conseil.
