Transliteration

tatra tasyaiva tīrastho vīkṣāṃcakre samāhitaḥ | kārtikyāṃ kṛttikāyoge cihnadarśanalālasaḥ

Translation

Là, debout sur cette même rive, il demeura en veille, l’esprit concentré, désireux d’apercevoir le signe sacré lorsque, au mois de Kārttika, surviendrait la conjonction de Kṛttikā.
