Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 23
त्रिशंकुरुवाच । अनेनैव शरीरेण स्वर्गाय गमनं प्रति । मया संप्रार्थितो यज्ञो वसिष्ठान्मुनिसत्तमात्
triśaṃkuruvāca | anenaiva śarīreṇa svargāya gamanaṃ prati | mayā saṃprārthito yajño vasiṣṭhānmunisattamāt
Triśaṅku dit : «Avec ce corps même, j’ai désiré aller au ciel. C’est pourquoi j’ai supplié Vasiṣṭha, le plus éminent des sages, d’accomplir un yajña à cette fin.»
