Transliteration

athāpaśyannadītīre sa tapasvigaṇāvṛtam | svādhyāyanirataṃ dāṃtaṃ viśvāmitraṃ taponidhinam

Translation

Puis, sur la rive du fleuve, il vit Viśvāmitra—trésor d’austérité—entouré de groupes d’ascètes, disciplinés et maîtres d’eux-mêmes, voués au svādhyāya, l’étude sacrée.
