Transliteration

jarāmādāya tadgātrādbhāryābhyāṃ sahitastadā | papraccha vinayopeto mārkaṃḍaṃ munisattamam

Alors, prenant sur ses propres membres le poids de la vieillesse et accompagné de ses deux reines, il interrogea avec respect Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya, le plus éminent des sages.
