ततः संप्रस्थितो विप्रो देवैः सर्वैः समाहितः । वारिराशिं समुद्दिश्य संशुष्कवदनस्तदा

tataḥ saṃprasthito vipro devaiḥ sarvaiḥ samāhitaḥ | vārirāśiṃ samuddiśya saṃśuṣkavadanastadā

Alors le sage brāhmane se mit en route, accompagné de tous les dieux, l’esprit recueilli; dirigeant son dessein vers l’immensité de l’océan, son visage devint sec en cet instant sous la puissance desséchante.
