Agastya
Tirtha: Agastya-āśrama (Cāmatkārapura)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Agastya, radiant with joy, rises from the fire-rite and welcomes the arriving ‘sage’ as if a long-cherished wish has materialized.
Dharma is expressed through timely hospitality—receiving the guest respectfully after completing sacred duties.
The broader chapter belongs to a tīrtha-māhātmya context in Nāgarakhaṇḍa; this verse highlights ritual decorum rather than a named site.
Agni-kārya (a fire-rite) is mentioned, implying regulated worship and proper sequencing before greeting the guest.
