सोऽहमद्य गमिष्यामि परलोकं सहानया । प्रियारहितहर्म्यस्य जीवितस्य च किं फलम्

so'hamadya gamiṣyāmi paralokaṃ sahānayā | priyārahitaharmyasya jīvitasya ca kiṃ phalam

Ainsi, aujourd’hui, moi aussi j’irai dans l’autre monde avec elle ; car à quoi sert la vie, et quelle joie est une demeure, lorsque l’aimée est absente ?
