इयं मे सुविशालाक्षी मनःप्राणसमा प्रिया । मृता भूमौ यया हीनो नाहं जीवितुमुत्सहे
iyaṃ me suviśālākṣī manaḥprāṇasamā priyā | mṛtā bhūmau yayā hīno nāhaṃ jīvitumutsahe
Celle-ci, ma bien-aimée aux très grands yeux, aussi chère que mon esprit et mon souffle, gît morte sur la terre ; privé d’elle, je n’ai plus la force de vivre.
