अन्ये ते पन्नगा विप्र ये दशंतीह मानवान् । वयं सलिलसंभूता निर्विषाः सर्परूपिणः

Transliteration

anye te pannagā vipra ye daśaṃtīha mānavān | vayaṃ salilasaṃbhūtā nirviṣāḥ sarparūpiṇaḥ

Translation

«Ô brāhmane, il est ici d’autres serpents qui mordent les hommes ; mais nous sommes nés de l’eau : sans venin, bien que sous forme de serpents.»
