उक्तौ चाभिरतानां च यत्पापं गरदायिनाम् । तन्मे स्याद्यदि नो हन्मि सर्पं दृष्टिवशं गतम्

uktau cābhiratānāṃ ca yatpāpaṃ garadāyinām | tanme syādyadi no hanmi sarpaṃ dṛṣṭivaśaṃ gatam

Que le péché de ceux qui se délectent de paroles mensongères, et le péché des donneurs de poison, retombe sur moi—si je ne tue pas le serpent venu sous mon regard.
