Skanda (deduced from Nāgarakhaṇḍa Tīrthamāhātmya narrative style)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A marketplace or court where ‘learned’ figures incite factions; wealthy houses become targets; desire and hatred personified as shadowy attendants of Kali.
Kali is marked by even the educated being ruled by attachment and hatred; dharma requires inner purification beyond mere learning.
No particular tīrtha is named in this verse.
No explicit rite is prescribed; the verse is diagnostic of Kali-era conduct.
