Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva grants a boon: the devotee is promised a new name ‘Dharmasena’ and freedom from deformity, in the presence of a liṅga being smoothed and made symmetrical.
Service to Śiva’s emblem (liṅga-sevā) is portrayed as dharmic refinement: it grants inner and outer integrity, removing ‘vikṛti’ (defect).
This verse focuses on the devotee’s future identity and Śiva-liṅga service; the specific site is not named in this line.
Liṅga-sevā is implied: maintaining/setting Śiva’s liṅga properly (samaṃ kurvan), i.e., ensuring correct installation/condition as an act of devotion.
