तीर्थानां च मखानां च द्वापरे सुरसत्तम । फलं भावानुरूपेण दानानां च प्रजायते

tīrthānāṃ ca makhānāṃ ca dvāpare surasattama | phalaṃ bhāvānurūpeṇa dānānāṃ ca prajāyate

Ô le meilleur des dieux, dans l’âge de Dvāpara, le fruit des pèlerinages aux tīrthas, des sacrifices (makhas) et des dons (dāna) naît selon la disposition intérieure ; chaque acte porte un résultat proportionné à la foi et à l’intention du dévot.
