Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 128

एवमुक्तस्ततः शक्रो ब्रह्मणा सुरसंनिधौ । तथेत्युक्त्वा तु तत्कालं पापपिंडं निजं ददौ

evamuktastataḥ śakro brahmaṇā surasaṃnidhau | tathetyuktvā tu tatkālaṃ pāpapiṃḍaṃ nijaṃ dadau

Ainsi, interpellé par Brahmā en présence des dieux, Śakra (Indra) répondit : «Qu’il en soit ainsi», et à l’instant même il remit son propre amas de péché (pāpapiṇḍa).
