ततो दत्तं हुतं तेषामस्माकमुपतिष्ठति । यदुच्छिष्टं नरैर्दत्तं तद्वृथा जायतेऽखिलम्

tato dattaṃ hutaṃ teṣāmasmākamupatiṣṭhati | yaducchiṣṭaṃ narairdattaṃ tadvṛthā jāyate'khilam

Alors, ce qui est donné en aumône et ce qui est offert dans le feu sacré nous parvient réellement (à nous, les dieux). Mais tout ce que les hommes offrent dans l’impureté devient entièrement vain et sans fruit.
