ततो भग्नाश्च शतशो दानवा निहतास्तदा । नद्यः शोणितसंभूता जाता बहुविधामुने

tato bhagnāśca śataśo dānavā nihatāstadā | nadyaḥ śoṇitasaṃbhūtā jātā bahuvidhāmune

Alors, des centaines de Dānavas furent mis en déroute et abattus. Ô sage, des rivières aux formes multiples surgirent, nées du sang.
