Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 59

FAQs

The body is a complete sacred cosmos: mastering the senses and inner forces leads the yogin to experiential knowledge of all realms.

The glorification is of the inner tīrtha—the embodied field where cosmic worlds and grahas are contemplated and transcended.

A yogic directive rather than a ritual: discipline of the senses and inner contemplation of cosmic structure within the body.
