आद्योऽयं रौरवो नाम नरको द्विजसत्तम । प्रतप्ततैलकुंभेषु पच्यंते यत्र जंतवः

ādyo'yaṃ rauravo nāma narako dvijasattama | prataptatailakuṃbheṣu pacyaṃte yatra jaṃtavaḥ

Le premier est l’enfer nommé Raurava, ô le meilleur des brahmanes. Là, les êtres sont cuits dans des chaudrons remplis d’huile brûlante et ardente.
