FAQs

Purification (viśuddhi) is presented as a generative sacred principle—spiritual purity gives rise to auspicious powers and divine manifestations.

The verse is part of Nāgara-khaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya framework in Adhyāya 254, but this single shloka does not name a distinct tīrtha explicitly.

No direct prescription (snāna, dāna, japa) appears in this verse; it is primarily descriptive/cosmological.
