evaṃ sā rudatī devī bāṣpavyākulalocanā | mahāduḥkhayutaivāsīddeveśe'nunayatyapi

Translation

Ainsi la Déesse pleurait, les yeux troublés de larmes ; même lorsqu’elle cherchait à apaiser le Seigneur des dieux, elle demeurait accablée d’une grande affliction.
