ब्राह्मण्यमद्य मे नष्टं मद्यपानादसंशयम् । प्रायश्चित्तं करिष्यामि तस्मादात्मविशुद्धये

brāhmaṇyamadya me naṣṭaṃ madyapānādasaṃśayam | prāyaścittaṃ kariṣyāmi tasmādātmaviśuddhaye

«Ma pureté de brāhmane est aujourd’hui ruinée—sans aucun doute—par le fait d’avoir bu du vin. C’est pourquoi j’accomplirai l’expiation, pour la purification de mon propre être.»
