prāṇināṃ kṛpayā lakṣmīstulasīvṛkṣamāśritā | cāturmāsye samāyāte tulasī sevitā yadi

Par compassion pour les êtres vivants, Lakṣmī a pris refuge dans l’arbre de Tulasī. Quand vient le temps sacré de Cāturmāsya, si l’on sert Tulasī comme il se doit—
