Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 36

उमामहेश्वरप्रीत्यै दत्तं विधिवदक्षयम् । यथा श्रीस्तुलसीवृक्षे तथा बिल्वे च पार्वती

umāmaheśvaraprītyai dattaṃ vidhivadakṣayam | yathā śrīstulasīvṛkṣe tathā bilve ca pārvatī

Tout ce qui est offert selon le rite pour la joie d’Umā et de Maheśvara devient impérissable. De même que Śrī demeure dans la plante de tulasī, ainsi Pārvatī demeure dans l’arbre de bilva.
