शालिग्रामशिला यस्यां भूमौ संपूज्यते नृभिः । पञ्चक्रोशं पुनात्येषा अपि पापशतान्वितैः

śāligrāmaśilā yasyāṃ bhūmau saṃpūjyate nṛbhiḥ | pañcakrośaṃ punātyeṣā api pāpaśatānvitaiḥ

La terre sur laquelle les hommes vénèrent comme il se doit la pierre de Śālagrāma—cette pierre sacrée purifie un espace de cinq krośas, même si (les habitants) sont chargés de centaines de fautes.
