Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 45

इदं पुराणं परमं पवित्रं विशुद्धधीर्यस्तु शृणोति वा पठेत् । विधूय पापानि पुरार्जितानि स याति विष्णोर्भवनं क्रियापरः

idaṃ purāṇaṃ paramaṃ pavitraṃ viśuddhadhīryastu śṛṇoti vā paṭhet | vidhūya pāpāni purārjitāni sa yāti viṣṇorbhavanaṃ kriyāparaḥ

Ce Purāṇa est souverainement saint et purificateur. Quiconque, l’intelligence purifiée, l’écoute ou le récite—secouant les fautes amassées jadis—parvient à la demeure de Viṣṇu, voué à l’action juste.
