Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 15

स्नानं च तर्पणं चैव वह्निहोमोऽप्यमंत्रकः । ब्रह्मयज्ञोऽतिथेः पूजा पंचयज्ञान्न संत्यजेत्

snānaṃ ca tarpaṇaṃ caiva vahnihomo'pyamaṃtrakaḥ | brahmayajño'titheḥ pūjā paṃcayajñānna saṃtyajet

Le bain et les libations (tarpaṇa), l’offrande au feu (homa) même sans mantras, le Brahma-yajña (étude/récitation), et l’hommage rendu à l’hôte : on ne doit pas délaisser ces devoirs du pañcayajña.
