Transliteration

bhāryāratiḥ śucirbhṛtyādīnāṃ poṣaṇatatparaḥ | śrāddhādikārako nityamiṣṭāpūrttaprasādhakaḥ

Translation

Tel est le maître de maison idéal : il se réjouit en son épouse, demeure pur de conduite, s’applique à nourrir serviteurs et dépendants, accomplit sans cesse le śrāddha et les rites connexes, et mène à terme les œuvres d’iṣṭa et de pūrta—culte et mérite offert au bien commun.
