Type: tirtha
Scene: At the edge of a clear tīrtha pool named Mṛgatīrtha, pilgrims with folded hands step into water as the sun rises; the western landscape is hinted; the atmosphere is fresh, golden, and auspicious, with a sense of ‘newly revealed’ sacred place.
Faithful observance at a sanctified place—especially ritual bathing on an auspicious tithi—multiplies merit and supports dharmic life.
Mṛgatīrtha, described as an unsurpassed tīrtha located in the western part of the referenced region.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at Mṛgatīrtha on Caitra śukla caturdaśī, performed with proper śraddhā, at sunrise/under the Sun.
