नमस्कृत्य पितॄन्पश्चात्सुप्रोक्षितं ततः परम् । कृत्वा सव्येन राजेन्द्र याचयित्वा वराशिषः
namaskṛtya pitṝnpaścātsuprokṣitaṃ tataḥ param | kṛtvā savyena rājendra yācayitvā varāśiṣaḥ
Après s’être incliné devant les Pitṛ (êtres ancestraux), puis avoir aspergé l’offrande d’eau sanctifiée selon le rite, ô le meilleur des rois, qu’on poursuive conformément à la règle par le côté gauche (savyena) et qu’on demande des bénédictions de bon augure.
