एकादशप्रमाणेन ततश्चान्ये नृपोत्तम । अजश्च प्रथमं सृष्टः स तथा मेध्यतां गतः
ekādaśapramāṇena tataścānye nṛpottama | ajaśca prathamaṃ sṛṣṭaḥ sa tathā medhyatāṃ gataḥ
Ensuite, ô meilleur des rois, d’autres furent créés selon la mesure de onze ; et la chèvre fut créée la première, et fut pareillement tenue pour medhya, apte à la pureté sacrificielle.
