संप्राप्ताः परमां प्रीतिं ततो द्वाशवार्षिकीम् । एतस्मात्कारणाच्छ्राद्धं प्रकरोमि द्विजोत्तमाः

Transliteration

saṃprāptāḥ paramāṃ prītiṃ tato dvāśavārṣikīm | etasmātkāraṇācchrāddhaṃ prakaromi dvijottamāḥ

Translation

Ils atteignirent la joie suprême, durant douze années. C’est pour cette raison même, ô meilleurs des brāhmaṇas, que j’accomplis à présent le śrāddha.
