तस्यां यः कुरुते श्राद्धं जलैरपि प्रभक्तितः । यावद्द्वादश वर्षाणि पितरस्तस्य तर्पिताः
tasyāṃ yaḥ kurute śrāddhaṃ jalairapi prabhaktitaḥ | yāvaddvādaśa varṣāṇi pitarastasya tarpitāḥ
Quiconque accomplit le śrāddha en cette occasion, fût-ce avec de l’eau seule mais avec une dévotion sincère, rend ses ancêtres satisfaits pendant douze années.
