Transliteration

akṣayā dharmakṛtye sā pitṛkṛtye viśeṣataḥ | agniṣvāttā barhiṣada ājyapāḥ somapāstathā

Translation

Cette Amāvasyā est d’un mérite inépuisable pour les actes de dharma, et tout particulièrement pour les rites offerts aux Ancêtres. En cette occasion, les classes de Pitṛ—Agniṣvātta, Barhiṣad, Ājyapa et Somapa—sont dites spécialement liées au rite.
