पितर ऊचुः । वयं हि पितरः ख्याता मनुष्याणामिहागताः । स्वर्गे स्वकर्मणा नित्यं निवसाम सुरैः सह
pitara ūcuḥ | vayaṃ hi pitaraḥ khyātā manuṣyāṇāmihāgatāḥ | svarge svakarmaṇā nityaṃ nivasāma suraiḥ saha
Les Pitṛ dirent : « En vérité, nous sommes connus comme les Pitṛ ; nous sommes venus ici pour le bien des humains. Au ciel, par la puissance de nos propres mérites, nous demeurons à jamais avec les dieux. »
