Mārkaṇḍeya (instructional conclusion within narration)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahābhāga (addressed devotee; contextually Viśvāmitra/querent)
Scene: A devotee performs Vināyaka pūjā on Caturthī night/day; the moon’s phase is visible; blessings manifest as abundant offerings and a calm heart-glow at the chest, signifying hṛdi-stha fulfillment.
Timely, rule-based devotion—especially on Caturthī—brings both inner satisfaction and worldly well-being under Vināyaka’s grace.
The instruction is delivered within the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra-māhātmya setting of the Nāgarakhaṇḍa.
Perform Vināyaka pūjā particularly on Caturthī for attaining great benefits.
