tasmādvighnasya me rakṣāṃ devadevaḥ prayacchatu | yathā no nāśamāyāti tapaḥ sarvaṃ kṛtaṃ mahat
Viśvāmitra (deduced; prayer to Śiva)
Scene: An ascetic/kingly devotee with folded hands prays to the ‘deva-deva’ for protection; ritual fire and austerity implements nearby; atmosphere of resolve before a sacred undertaking.
Austerity should be guarded by humility and prayer; divine protection is sought so spiritual effort is not wasted.
The immediate setting continues the Kailāsa refuge-context, though the verse itself focuses on prayer rather than place-description.
Seeking vighna-protection through prayer (stuti/ārādhana) is implied as support for ongoing tapas.
