हा हतास्मि विनष्टास्मि मंदभाग्या ह्यभागिनी । एकोपि तनयो यस्या ममाप्येनां दशां गतः
hā hatāsmi vinaṣṭāsmi maṃdabhāgyā hyabhāginī | ekopi tanayo yasyā mamāpyenāṃ daśāṃ gataḥ
«Hélas ! Je suis comme frappée à mort, je suis perdue — malheureuse, vraiment privée de bonne fortune ! Moi qui n’ai qu’un seul fils, lui aussi m’a conduite à cet état.»
