Type: kund
Listener: The audience of the mahatmya (implied)
Scene: After completing the vow, the brāhmaṇa emerges from the pond radiant; diseased skin vanishes, replaced by a luminous divine body, while Sūrya’s rays crown him.
Śraddhā (faith) joined with correct practice makes tīrtha observance spiritually transformative, not merely symbolic.
Puṇyahrada, implied as the site where the brāhmaṇa performed the prescribed observance.
Carrying out the instructed vrata exactly—snāna at the tīrtha and the prescribed devotional acts—resulting in cure and exaltation.
