तत्र क्षणेऽभवत्तस्य चित्ते सांबस्य धीमतः । मुक्तोऽहं कुष्ठरोगेण निर्विकल्पं द्विजोत्तमाः

tatra kṣaṇe'bhavattasya citte sāṃbasya dhīmataḥ | mukto'haṃ kuṣṭharogeṇa nirvikalpaṃ dvijottamāḥ

À cet instant même, dans l’esprit du sage Sāmba naquit une résolution limpide : «Je suis délivré de la lèpre, ô meilleurs des deux-fois-nés, sans la moindre hésitation.»
