प्रक्षाल्य चरणौ तस्य वाससी परिधापयेत् । संपूज्य गंधपुष्पाद्यैस्ततः पत्रं हिरण्मयम् । स्वशक्त्या कारयित्वाऽथ चूर्णे मुक्ताफलं न्यसेत्
prakṣālya caraṇau tasya vāsasī paridhāpayet | saṃpūjya gaṃdhapuṣpādyaistataḥ patraṃ hiraṇmayam | svaśaktyā kārayitvā'tha cūrṇe muktāphalaṃ nyaset
«Après lui avoir lavé les pieds, qu’on le revête de vêtements. L’ayant honoré comme il se doit par des parfums, des fleurs et autres offrandes, qu’on fasse préparer, selon ses moyens, une feuille de bétel d’or, et qu’on dépose une perle sur la poudre parfumée».
