Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 82

तेन रुष्टः सहस्राक्षस्तव चांते समागताः । तस्मात्कुरु प्रसादं नः श्राद्धार्हाः स्याम वै यथा

tena ruṣṭaḥ sahasrākṣastava cāṃte samāgatāḥ | tasmātkuru prasādaṃ naḥ śrāddhārhāḥ syāma vai yathā

Ainsi Sahasrākṣa (Indra) s’est courroucé, et nous sommes venus en ta présence. Accorde-nous donc ta grâce, afin que nous devenions vraiment dignes de recevoir les offrandes de śrāddha.
