Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 79

तथेत्युक्ते द्विजेंद्रैश्च विश्वेदेवाः सुदुःखिताः । रुरुदुर्बाष्पपूरेण प्लावयन्तो वसुन्धराम्

tathetyukte dvijeṃdraiśca viśvedevāḥ suduḥkhitāḥ | rurudurbāṣpapūreṇa plāvayanto vasundharām

Quand les plus éminents brāhmanes dirent : « Qu’il en soit ainsi », les Viśvedevās, accablés de chagrin, versèrent des torrents de larmes, inondant la terre.
