यजमानस्य काये च श्राद्धं संयोज्य यत्नतः । मया हताः प्रयास्यंति सर्वे ते दूरतो द्रुतम्
yajamānasya kāye ca śrāddhaṃ saṃyojya yatnataḥ | mayā hatāḥ prayāsyaṃti sarve te dūrato drutam
«Lorsque le śrāddha est, avec soin, joint et assuré sur la personne du sacrifiant, tous ces êtres—frappés par moi—s’enfuiront vite, au loin.»
